Week 2 (Aug 26, 2020)
Cześć Everybody,
Sorry to everyone I missed week one of writing but I'll make up for it this week by writing more than one sentence lol.
These last two weeks I've been more tired than maybe ever before haha the mtc just does something to make me actually be able to fall asleep before 10:00 some nights. Which is crazy cuz if you know me I haven't gone to bed that early in a longgg time. To give a rough schedule of my day it goes something like this.
Wake up at 6:30, Workout for 30 minutes then companion study from 8:00-9:00. Then class from 9-12. I have another class from 5:45-8:45 so between the two classes I have time to study and relax a little bit. Learning Polish has been pretty hard, sometimes it's hard for me to even pronounce some words but it's been very rewarding. Then I go to bed between 9:00-10:30 depending on the day.
Just to tell a little more about my district, my companion is Starszy (Elder in polish) George from Hooper, Utah. He's a great guy, took 6 years of german in school and was the german club president so he speaks it really well, also ran track and he does pottery and I think he's pretty good at it he's got some stuff in galleries. He's a very hard working guy and is great at sharing things that mean a lot to him so he brings the spirit a lot which is really good. There are 3 companionships in my district, all Elders so we have a great time together. All of them are from Utah except one from Washington, but one Elder is my cousin's good friend! So I feel pretty close to him and whenever it's just us two we always end up getting off topic talking about stuff haha
If anyone ever wants to reach out if they wanna know more feel free to email I'd love to talk about anything and I would love to know how everybodys doing. And I'm never to busy to talk I get bored sometimes
Last thing I wanna share is a scripture that I really like this week and its Mosiah 16:8-9. "But there is a resurrection, therefore the grave hath no victory, and the sting of death is swallowed up in Christ. He is the light and the life of the world; yea, a light that is endless, that can never be darkened; yea, and also a life which is endless, that there can be no more death." This scripture helps me feel peace about our life after death that is only possible because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and I am so very grateful for that sacrifice he made for all of us.
